KOR Protocol Simplifies Music and IP Integration with KOR Player
Entertainment IP infrastructure KOR Protocol has introduced KOR Player, a new platform aimed at simplifying the integration of licensed music and intellectual property (IP) into digital ecosystems through its dynamic AI music engine.
The platform addresses the growing need for effective copyright management in digital spaces such as video games, live-streams, esports broadcast and more. By offering tools for dynamic licensing and royalty tracking, KOR Player seeks to provide a clear framework for managing and distributing IP-based assets.
Animoca Brands and its subsidiary Pixelynx—co-founded by industry figures such as Joel Zimmerman (also known as deadmau5), Richie Hawtin (Plastikman), Inder Phull, Ben Turner, and Dean Wilson—are among the initial partners supporting KOR Player.
What is KOR Player?
KOR Player is a platform designed to help developers incorporate licensed music and IP-based assets into their digital projects.
The platform comes equipped with a range of features that allow users and developers to play, create, and remix music. It integrates various tools, including the IP Vault, where artists can securely upload their tracks, and the KOR AI Engine, which offers developers access to a growing library of sounds along with generative AI capabilities. All content is authenticated through KOR Protocol, which also facilitates on-chain royalty payments via its native IP Token.
KOR Player will be available as a software development kit (SDK), allowing developers to easily integrate music and IP-based content into their projects, enabling the launch of music-driven digital experiences.
Interested developers can request early access and technical documents of KOR Player by completing the signup form.
Partnerships and Global Impact
KOR Protocol has established significant partnerships to expand the reach and capabilities of KOR Player.
With over 550,000 user signups across various initiatives—such as KORUS and the Black Mirror experience—KOR Protocol has partnered with companies like KDDI to integrate KOR Player with the “αU on cloud” service to enable the distribution of AI-generated music in augmented reality (AR) and metaverse experiences, reaching a potential audience of over 65 million users.
Other partners, including Darewise Entertainment, OPAL Protocol, and Motorverse are set to further extend the platform’s reach, enabling developers to build more immersive and creative experiences without the typical constraints of IP management.
“KOR Player aims to transform how developers access and integrate licensed songs and generative AI music into their platforms,” said Inder Phull, Creator of KOR Protocol. “Our previously announced partnerships with KDDI and Motorverse are only the beginning. KOR Player provides a seamless solution that handles consumption, rights management and automated royalty distribution, allowing developers to focus on creating immersive experiences without worrying about licensing complexities. This collaboration ensures transparency and fairness in the use of music IP, benefiting both developers and artists.”
